Alessandra Simeoni was born in 1973 in Turin. Nationality: Italian-Hungarian.

After completing her communication sociology and drama studies at the University of Milan I.U.L.M, she lived in Budapest for 2 years where she worked for the Trafò House of Contemporary Arts. She worked together with Kunsthalle for an exhibit at the 2001 Venice Biennial Arts Festival.

One year later, she moved to Geneva where she worked together with a host of artists and theaters.  She organized the first event of the Carte Blanche festival in the Arsenic in Lausanne. She returned to Italy in 2004. She worked as an assistant to Romeo Castellucci, who was responsible for the directing the theater section of the Venice Biennial Arts Festival

Between 2006 and 2010, she was worked in the artistic direction of the international festivals Santarcangelo, Inteatro de Polverigi and uovo performing arts festival in Milan.

In 2010 she founded dada prod., an agency for producing and negotiating art projects, which is responsible for 8 artists throughout Europe.

At the same time, she worked for bU bartiera Urbana, an art project held in public space in Turin and to open a new cultural radio station called RadioRana, which is a free medium for music and urban culture. RadioRana is a member of an European network of cultural radio stations with strong regional ties.
